It is cold this morning, 42 outdoors and only 66 in here. We haven't turned the heat on yet. We did remove the air conditioner and stored it away till next summer, yesterday. I still have some cleaning up to do but we were gone a lot yesterday and the day before. Had to purchase a couple of trash cans as we gave up our trash service as it was getting a bit too expensive for us, for the amount of trash we have each month. So we will be taking it off ourselves once more, which gives us the opportunity to take a trip at the same time. Not that we need an excuse to take a trip, but it is always a good idea to do as much as you can when you have the opportunity to do so.
I went to bed much to early last night and woke up much to early this morning, about 4:30 I believe, so I made my coffee and turned on the television and listened for a bit about the war in Israel, which is a terrible thing. It seems that Hamas attacked by land, air and sea all at the same time and has killed over 1100 people, men, women and children and captured others to use as shields for moving against Israel fighters. Some I heard were Americans. "Prophecy is being fulfilled in our lifetimes", I heard it said. So we are in the end times. I pray for the people in America to surrender to God and accept His Son, Jesus Christ as their saviour, before their appointed time to die is. Some believe a lot of those who have crossed our border are not here to have a better life, but to hurt us as Hamas has hurt Israel. Infiltration. And maybe that is 'truth'. Israel is our ally. And we are hers, but I don't know if we will join the war. Who knows what will happen, with the man in the White House being who he is.
Sometime today I want to begin cleaning out my storage building and getting ready for the Yard Sale this next weekend. I have loads of stuff I want to get rid of as it it not being used by us, and could probably be of use to someone else, so with that in mind, not too many things will have expensive prices and some will be free. I plan on setting up tables outside in the driveway and keeping the stuff covered with a large tarp overnight so as not to have to move them in and out every day. Our cameras will be on them to see if anyone comes around to look. I also have chairs, clothes, Christmas and Craft items and supplies and a Singer pedal sewing machine, and chair to sell, and loads of other stuff like books. I am not sure if I will keep the Christmas tree or not. I may but it has to be on the porch and not in the house because of height and last year it was blown over by the wind and bent. Hard to decorate with things that won't fly off in the wind. But the closer the time comes the more I want to decorate, so I will probably keep it and decorate it again this year. I love all the beautiful lights at Christmas time. Oh, while at the store I saw Christmas Santa's and other figures that talk,, about 5 foot to 6 foot high. They do come out with some amazing things, but whether we should be buying them and using them, I am not sure. Christmas is supposed to be a celebration of Christ's birth, and Easter is a celebration of His return to life and His ascension into heaven to be with God the Father. And He won't return until the Father tells Him it is time to. But because we are all destined to die at any given time, it is imperative that you seek Jesus, believe in Him and that He died on the cross for our sins, and was buried and on the 3rd day returned to life and was seen for 40 days before He ascended back into heaven. And you must be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost as a commitment to your belief.
